Product Review - writercize #73

One simple way to practice writing and help your fellow man at the same time is - write a product review.  It could be glowing or scathing; it could cover any product from the mundane to the luxurious.  Whatever you say, make sure it's helpful, accurate and as "objective" as possible, and make sure you are willing to stand behind your statement.

Luxurious AND Long-Lasting

We sort of pride ourselves in our family for having the softest toilet paper around, and snicker a little at industrial feeling single-ply whenever we're exposed to it at someone else's home. It's ridiculous, I know, but toilet paper is something we'd splurge on just to be comfortable.

The great thing about Charmin' is that it is soft and worth the splurge, but because it is so durable, one roll lasts for several days, making it a great value. In a family of four, we can easily go 4-5 days between changing a roll, but hardly make it through one day with cheaper store brand double rolls.

The only drawback is that Charmin' does tend to be a little bulky for bathrooms without much space to hang toilet paper. However, they seem to have done work to consolidate space somehow because I've noticed a better fit the past few months.

  2. Now this has to be the most ... intimate... review so far on GBE2. Love it, and I also love Charmin. I'm in the comfort of cost category when it comes to TP!

  3. TP!! What a great item to review!! I will buy Charmin if on sale and I have a coupon. I do prefer it to other brands but I can't always put it in the budget.

Okay--so I wonder how it would hold up if say--I decided to TP my neighbor's tree??

No seriously, I like my neighbors!! I'm NOT REALLY planning on doing that...HONEST. I'm just curious!! ;) LOL!!

    Cheers, Jenn

    1. It would probably hold up pretty well! It may be the most expensive TP tree around, but horrid to dismantle. Haha!
