Be My Guest!

Hey there writercize fans -

I'm curious to know what gets you going when it's time to write!  I'm offering up a guest post every Friday beginning in October to anyone interested.  I will continue to post my writercizes Mon - Thurs, but I'd love to get this community chatting about what helps you write.  Consider this your official, heartfelt invite.

Here's the catch - you need to send it to me in writercize format.  Meaning, give a brief intro to your blog, set up a story about the writercize you've selected, offer the writercize in a simple instructional format, and give your own writercize a whirl.

I'll try it too as the first comment, and then invite my readers to try out your exercise and visit your blog!

    I'd love to lead a writercize! Do I apply for the guest post by sending a sample writercize? Or do I just ask to sign up?

    Brianna - just ask! Tell me the day to reserve it, then send me your post a couple of days in advance via e-mail. So glad that you are interested!

    I asked for October 21st, but then thought that somebody has to break the ice and go first, so I'll take October 7th to get the ball rolling. :O)

    I'd like to be counted in. Can I do November 18 th? I usually write creative nonfiction or memoir and am having a picture book come out in winter 2012. Am I suitable?

    Ok Alana, you're approving everyone who asks, but I'm not a woman! Still extending the invite? I'll sit back and watch for a while (as is my wont), but I'll take Dec 16th (my birthday) if that's ok? Perhaps (maybe) I'll post a writercize about parenthesis (lol)!
