I get a chuckle out of "Tippecanoe and Tyler Too" because John Tyler was an afterthought added to the ticket because he was a southerner. He was totally unqualified, but William Henry Harrison didn't care because the vice president never did anything anyway. Remember Harrison? He died after a month in office and for the first time ever, the VP became the president.

Joyce
http://joycelansky.blogspot.comCatch My Wordshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06338761214938263819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5573858483799418922.post-905387810448034402011-10-16T23:09:57.207-07:002011-10-16T23:09:57.207-07:00Mike - perfectly succinct. :)Mike - perfectly succinct. :)Alanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07507063858936159161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5573858483799418922.post-13222507782722312572011-10-13T05:00:20.581-07:002011-10-13T05:00:20.581-07:00Back To Basics!Back To Basics!Millerwriteshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00362226574347191886noreply@blogger.com
